The Taraba State University Journal of Communication and Media Studies (TSUJCMS) is a bi-annual publication of the Department of Mass Communication, Taraba State University, Jalingo. The journal covers all areas of research interest within communication and media studies, including development communication, intercultural and cross-cultural communication, gender studies, new media and emerging trends in communication, public relations, advertising, corporate communication, media and society, and conflict-sensitive journalism, among others.

The journal also accepts articles from related disciplines within the humanities, social sciences, and education that examine communication issues from interdisciplinary perspectives as they relate to, or impact, those disciplines. TSUJCMS publishes both empirical and conceptual papers that are the products of original research conducted by the author(s).
